We invite you to participate in the Cultural Showcase during Philadelphia University’s third Unity Week!

When:  Friday, March 25, 8:00-9:30pm

Where: Downs Auditorium

During March 21 - March 31, Philadelphia University will hold its second annual Unity Week, a celebration of community and diversity. The Cultural Showcase is scheduled for 8pm on Friday, February 26, 2010 and will mark the culmination of this wonderful and enriching week of campus-wide collaborative programming.

The Unity Week Cultural Showcase creates an opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to express, share, and celebrate cultural diversity in a series of creative presentations and performances. The Unity Week Cultural Showcase Workgroup is now soliciting applications from university community members to participate. Performances can be done by individuals or as groups. They can include, but are not limited to:

• Song
• Dance
• Fashion
• Poetry
• Art
• Other Forms of Media

We cannot continue this successful tradition without the assistance and participation of campus community members. Performances should take into account Unity Week goals such as:

• Sharing differing perspectives and cultures
• Planning collaboratively
• Raising awareness about the connectedness of different group
• Celebrating diversity in our campus community.
