Students who are interested in learning more about internships and the academic internship program at Philadelphia University are encouraged to attend Career Service’s Internship Information Sessions, which are offered each semester. Internship Information Sessions cover a variety of topics including: what constitutes an “internship”, how students can prepare for an internship, what options students have for completing internships, and what the general application process is for pursuing an internship for credit at the University.
To register for any one of these workshops, students should login to their CareerLink account and access the events tab from their homepage.
Additionally, the Career Services Center holds walk-in hours every Tuesday from 2 – 4 p.m. to specifically address students’ internship inquiries, particularly as it relates to the academic internship program process. Students who are unable to attend the Information Sessions or Internship Walk-ins should contact Career Services (215.951.2930) to schedule an appointment with a counselor.
